Peter Dinklage Emmy Nomination! 13 Noms for GoT!

It was inevitable: Peter Dinklage has the Emmy nomination for Best Supporting Actor in HBO’s Game of Thrones. I’d say his chances are pretty good, but watch out for Justified‘s Walton Goggins!

GoT has 13 Emmy nominations, including Outstanding Drama Series and Outstanding Casting for a Drama Series. No kidding! The show has the most outstanding cast ever, and it’s a shame that not all of them could be nominated and win.

Here is a list of all the 2011 Emmy nominations for Game of Thrones, listed alphabetically:

Outstanding Casting For A Drama Series
Outstanding Costumes For A Series
Outstanding Directing For A Drama Series
Outstanding Hairstyling For A Single-Camera Series

wow… peter dinklage and walton goggins? that’s a tough call… I don’t know who to root for!

I’m for Peter Dinklage, obviously, but Walton Goggins, as much as he creeped me out in The Shield, has done a fantastic job in Justified. I can see where some folk would be conflicted!

Yay Game of Thrones! Good luck in all the categories! :)

I just realized something though, looking at the makeup nominations, if they get to the later books then Tyrion’s makeup will become…rather difficult…heh. :) Maybe they’ll just change some details so they don’t have to CG him constantly or maim him and make you kill them. ;)

A lot of people thought that Peter Dinklage was too handsome to play The Imp, and yeah – next season’s gonna be tough. He will never be not-handsome. :D Although he did come close as Trumpkin the Dwarf… but that’s different.
